Blue Zones Medical And Wellbeing Center At Legacy Hotel & Residences Gets 60% Expansion Following Land Acquisition From RPC

Royal Palm Companies (RPC) purchased the neighboring 7,500-square-foot parcel of land at 61 Northeast 9th Street beside Legacy Hotel & Residences (Legacy) at Miami Worldcenter to expand its 10-floor $100 million first-of-its-kind Blue Zones Medical and Wellbeing Center to be even more expansive than previously planned. The property was purchased by 61 NE 9TH STREET LLC, an entity linked to RPC, for $4,450,000 from SIN BIN INC Given the impressive demand for preventative medicine and wellness, Dan Kodsi and his team are catering to the demand through expanding the center by 60%. The original plans called for 100,000 square feet of space, and will now span 160,000 square feet.

Designed by Kobi Karp Architecture & Interior Design Inc. with interiors by ID & Design International and developed by Royal Palm Companies, the near 1-million-square-foot structure is planned rise 690-feet and include 310 residences and 219 hotel rooms, 37,227 square feet of commercial space, 55,088 square feet of office space, over 140,000 square feet of wellness space, 482 parking spaces and 30 bicycle spaces. Royal Palm Companies Secures $340 Million In Construction Financing For Legacy Hotel & Residences

Dania Beach-based real estate developer Royal Palm Companies has landed a massive $340 million construction loan from New York City-based Silverstein Capital Partners for Legacy Hotel & Residences, a 51-story mixed-use building planned for 938 Northeast 1st Avenue within the 27-acre Miami Worldcenter master-planned development. The loan marks the third largest financing package executed in the state of Florida, and will allow for the vertical construction of the 690-foot-tall structure projected to yield nearly 1 million square feet. Renowned Miami architect Kobi Karp designed the modern Art-Deco inspired tower, and will feature interiors by ID & Design International.

Detailed site plans and diagrams have finally been unveiled for Miami Worldcenter’s (MWC) upcoming Legacy Hotel & Residences, a 51-story neo-futuristic mixed-use skyscraper underway at 938 Northeast 1st Avenue in Downtown Miami. Set to rise 681-feet within the Park West neighborhood, the highly anticipated tower is designed by Kobi Karp for Miami-based Royal Palm Companies as part of the 27-acre MWC mega-development. The city’s Urban Development Review Board has received an application for the project requesting approvals for the include site plans. Marissa Neufeld of Greenberg Traurig LLP is listed as the representative for the developer in the application.
