Shoma Group Announces 16-Story Mixed-Use Tower At 550 Mariposa Street In Downtown Orlando

Miami’s Shoma Group is gearing up for its upcoming project, 550 Shoma, a 1.146-acre mixed-use development set to rise in the heart of Orlando, Florida. Situated at 550 Mariposa Street in the downtown area, the development will feature 223 expansive one-, two-, and three-bedroom rental apartments ranging from 756 to 1,472 square feet and adaptable live/work units spanning approximately 1,229 square feet. The esteemed architectural firm Baker Barrios has been entrusted with the design, ensuring a seamless integration of modern aesthetics and contemporary living spaces in this future 16-story tower, accompanied by a spacious parking garage for 425 vehicles. It promises to offer diverse living options and approximately 17,160 square feet of retail space, including a Shoma Bazaar, a culinary and beverage destination.

Exterior Work On Society Orlando Phase One Approaches The Final Stages In Downtown Orlando

Exterior work is approaching the final stages on the first phase of Society Orlando, a two-towered, 1.5-million-square-foot mixed-use development located at 434 North Orange Avenue in Downtown Orlando. Designed by Baker Barrios and developed by a joint venture partnership between Property Markets Group and Raven & Company, the complex will yield 704 rental apartments paired with over 100,000 square feet of amenities, 33,000 square feet of retail space and nearly 900 parking spaces within a 5-story podium. The first phase of the development will offer 484 residential units spread throughout a 28-story structure topped out at 350 feet, making it the 9th tallest building in Orlando. John Moriarty & Associates is the project’s general contractor, located on the northwest corner of the cross between North Orange Avenue and West Livingston Street.

FAA Permits Being Reviewed For Mill Creek’s 25-Story ‘Modera South Eola’ In Orlando

The Federal Aviation Administration is currently reviewing building permit applications for Modera South Eola, a 25-story residential building proposed for 270 East Pine Street as a part of The Commons master-planned mixed-use development in Downtown Orlando’s Central Business District. Designed by Bethesda, Maryland-based SK+I Architecture and developed by an entity linked to Orlando-based Mill Creek Residential (Mill Creek), the L-shaped residential tower would comprise 400 multifamily rental units with related amenities,  8,238 square feet of retail space, and an 8-level parking garage with space for 400 vehicles. The Commons is a joint venture partnership between Mill Creek and an entity linked to Charlotte, North Carolina-based Highwoods Properties, Inc. (Highwoods), which is developing the commercial portion of the master plan – a 3-story structure with 100,000 square feet of Class A office space at 115, 155, 191 South Rosalind Avenue.

Construction has topped out on Phase 1 of Society Orlando, a two-tower mixed-use development of 28 and 16 stories under construction at 434 North Orange Avenue in Downtown Orlando’s Central Business District. Designed by Orlando-based Baker Barrios and developed by Property Markets Group and Raven Capital Management, the approximately 350-foot-tall first phase will yield 484 residential units atop a massive podium with 33,000 square feet of ground floor commercial space and parking spaces. John Moriarty & Associates is the general contractor with Baker Concrete Construction managing concrete construction for the project, which is located on the northwest corner of the intersection between North Orange Avenue and West Livingston Street.
