Permits have been submitted to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for work on 99 Southwest 6th Street, a proposed but unannounced 709-foot-tall skyscraper in Brickell, Miami. Located along the Miami River, beside the upcoming 1.16-million-square-foot One Brickell Riverfront duo-tower complex, the building would occupy the northeast section of a 1.62-acre assemblage collectively addressed as 99 Southwest 7th Street owned by 99SW7 HOLDINGS LLC, an entity affiliated with Newgard Development Group. The subject site is bound by the Miami River on the north, Lofty Brickell (a part of One Brickell Riverfront) on the west, Southwest 6th Street on the south, and Southwest Miami Avenue Road on the east.

Developers Seek FAA Approval For 761-Foot-Tall Structure At Brickell Gateway Site In Miami

Developers Gazit Horizons, the U.S. arm of Israel-based real estate developer Gazit Globe, and Atlantic Pacific have filed permit applications with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for Brickell Gateway, a 61-story mixed-use tower proposed in Miami’s bustling Brickell district. The permit applications were filed on March 28, 2023, and are currently under review by the FAA. The project, designed by Coral Gables-based Corwil Architects, is seeking approval to rise to 761 feet above ground or 772 feet above sea level. Witkin Hults + Partners handles the landscape architecture for the development, while Kimley-Horn is the civil engineer.

Fortune International Group Files Plans For 76-Story Ora by Casa Tua At 1210 Brickell Avenue In Miami

Plans have been filed for Ora by Casa Tua, a 76-story mixed-use skyscraper at 1210 Brickell Avenue in Miami’s financial district. Designed by the renowned architectural firm Arquitectonica and developed by Fortune International Group, newly revealed renderings reveal the uniquely shaped structure, which aims to rise 930 feet and feature 540 residential units, 53,841 square feet of office space, 24,260 square feet of commercial space, 955 car parking spaces, and 1,980 bike parking spaces.  A 7-story parking garage at the 1.06-acre site will be demolished to make way for the new tower, located at the confluence between South Miami Avenue and Brickell Plaza with Southeast 13th Street.
