Construction could start on Hilton Tempo in September 2023. Initially, the venture was supposed to break ground in 2022. Yet, according to FOX 4 Southwest Florida, the Fort Myers Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) pushed it back after the venture switched owners.
Developers 13th Floor Investments and Key International are moving forward with their ambitious project at 609 Brickell Avenue in Miami in collaboration with architect Sieger Suarez. The First Miami Presbyterian Church, located at this address, had previously agreed to a deal with the developers that could lead to the construction of one of Miami’s tallest and most iconic buildings—an 80-story luxury condo tower on the church’s property.
Right now, Google Earth shows that the 16,360-square-foot lot at 1920 Pierce St. in Hollywood, FL, hosts a few single-family homes. Yet, that plot could find new life as a five-story residential venture.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) approved building permits on March 15 for 11 Andrews, a 47-story mixed-use tower planned for 11 North Andrews Avenue in Fort Lauderdale. The building is now authorized to rise 496 feet above ground or 499 feet above sea level. Designed by CUBE 3 with Witkin Hults + Partners as the landscape architect and developed by Miami Beach-based Bachow Ventures, managed by Noah Bachow, the development will encompass 732,500 square feet of space, including 425 residential units, 7,400 square feet of commercial space, and 425 parking spaces.
Florida Studio Theatre (FST) is the largest subscription theatre in the state. Now, it has big plans for a new multi-million-dollar venture in Sarasota, Florida. According to the company’s website, Florida State Theatre’s Art Plaza (called “Mulva Arts Plaza” in some sources) will measure 11 stories above grade.
