Grove Isle’s first new residential development in decades has reached a major milestone as CMC Group, led by developer Ugo Colombo, topped off construction of Vita at Grove Isle, a 65-unit luxury condominium. Situated on the 20-acre private island of Grove Isle, just offshore from Miami’s Coconut Grove neighborhood, the seven-story waterfront development is comprised of three interconnected buildings, forming a unified structure. Vita at Grove Isle is scheduled for completion in late 2025.
In April 2023, Boca Raton-based Mill Creek Residential broke ground on the first phase of Moderna Aventura, which will offer 420 apartments, 6,400 square feet of retail, and 632 parking spots. The developer received approval for a second phase with the same specs, but now has filed plans for a smaller phase.
Plans for the Waldorf Astoria Residences St. Petersburg, a 49-story tower set to become the city’s tallest building, have been significantly revised. The mixed-use luxury condominium tower, to be located at 150 2nd Avenue South in downtown St. Petersburg, has undergone a dramatic redesign, now featuring new architectural plans by Miami-based CUBE 3. Initially designed by New York-based SLCE Architects, the changes represent a shift in the project’s vision, with CUBE 3 stepping in to reshape the iconic structure. The project is a joint venture between Miami’s Property Markets Group and the City Center office building owners, including Feldman Equities, City Office REIT, and Tower Realty Partners.
A five-story penthouse-only condominium is scheduled to break ground on Treasure Island, Florida. The Pearl, scheduled for a 2025 release, will feature four full-floor penthouses that offer “unobstructed 180-degree ocean views and private access to one of the widest sections of the barrier island”.
