26-Story Mixed-Use Tower ‘Venus’ Unanimously Approved In North Miami Beach

The Planning and Zoning Board of North Miami Beach has unanimously approved plans for Venus, a 26-story mixed-use building planned for 2060 Northeast 164th Street. Designed by Burgos Lanza Architects & Planners with landscape architecture by Kimley-Horn and developed by Crep NMB Venus LLC, an affiliate of New York City-based developer Carpe Real Estate Partners (Carpe), the development is approved for approximately 660,000 square feet of space including 440 rental units, 11,000 square feet of carefully curated retail space, 499 parking spaces and a variety of residential amenities.

Alture Westland Nearing Completion at 1950 West 49th Street, Hialeah, Florida, 33012

Alture Westland is nearing completion in Hialeah, Florida. The $30 million venture, located on the former premises of a Ramada Inn, will offer 251 luxury median-priced units. According to a 2021 report from the Miami-Herald, layout plans comprise studios and one-bedroom units, ranging from 340 square feet to 600 square feet each.

New Construction Permits Filed For Related Group’s 73-Story Baccarat Residences Condo Tower In Brickell

New construction permits have been filed for Baccarat Residences, a 73-story residential skyscraper located at 99 Southeast 5th Street in Brickell. The permit filing has revealed the structure will top out at 835-feet, and will contain 806,326 square feet of space including 796,326 square feet of space designated for residential use across 352 condominium units and 10,000 square feet of space for a restaurant. The corporation listed as the owner of the application is 444 Brickell Partners, LLC, an affiliate of the Related Group (Related) led by prolific real estate developer Jorge M. Perez, who is often referred to as the condo king of Miami. Related is developing the highly anticipated tower with SH Hotels & Resorts, who manages the Baccarat Hotel in New York. The building is designed by Miami-based international architecture firm Arquitectonica with lavish interiors by New York City-based Meyers Davis, and landscaping will be handled by Enzo Enea of Zurich-based Enea Garden Design. John Moriarty and Associates of Florida Inc. is listed as the general contractor.

Construction Continues on 95,000-Square-Foot Data Center in Eatonville, FL

Construction is continuing on HostDime Data Center’s new headquarters in Eatonville, Florida. The $25 million project broke ground in early 2021, with Robins & Morton Group operating as the general contractor. Upon completion, the seven-story building requires about 95,000 square feet of new construction.

Phase One Of PMG’s Society Orlando Nears Topping Out At 434 North Orange Avenue

Construction is nearing the final floors on phase one of Society Orlando, a two-towered mixed-use development of 26 and 16 stories at 434 North Orange Avenue in the Central Business District of Downtown Orlando. The project is designed by Orlando’s very own Baker Barrios and is being developed by national real estate developer Property Markets Group (PMG) alongside New York City-based investment firm Raven Capital Management. John Moriarty & Associates is managing the development’s construction, which will ultimately yield 707 residential units between both towers and 36,000 square feet of ground floor commercial space. The first phase of construction is comprised of the taller, approximately 350-foot-tall tower rising along West Livingston Street with 462 units.
