Demolition Permits Issued For 300 Biscayne Boulevard, Where Miami’s First Supertall Skyscraper Will Rise

Demolition permits have been issued for 300 Biscayne Boulevard, the development site of the upcoming 1,049-foot-tall Waldorf Astoria Hotel & Residences – Miami’s first skyscraper to reach supertall status. The 100-story mixed-use building is designed by Sieger Suarez Architects  in collaboration with Carlos Ott, and being developed by New York City and Miami-based Property Markets Group with Canada-based Greybrook Realty Partner. The scope of work involves the full demolition of a 73-year old, 11,119-square-foot single-story structure tucked at the northwest corner of Biscayne Boulevard and Northeast 3rd Street. The BG Group is listed as the contractor for the work priced at $30,000.

Water Street Tampa Announces Asher & ROOST Apartment Hotel At 1050 Water Street

Real estate development firm Strategic Property Partners (SPP) recently announced Asher, a dynamic, highly amenitized new 22-story apartment tower at 1050 Water Street in Water Street Tampa, the 56-acre neighborhood transforming Downtown Tampa. In addition to offering a collection of rental residences, the developer has teamed up with Method Co., the celebrated Philadelphia-based hospitality company, to bring the first Florida location of their high-design extended-stay concept, ROOST Apartment Hotel, at Asher. The building is designed by Morris Adjmi Architects with ODP Architecture & Design as the architect of record, and will offer a total of 490 thoughtfully-designed rental residences ranging from studio to two-bedroom homes and 30,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space.
