In a recent interview on Dezer Development’s Gil Dezer and Sieger Suarez Architects’ Charles M. Sieger with Dolce Luxury Magazine, the developer and architect spoke in more detail on the design and exterior as well as some interior features of the tower, which is on track to become the tallest residential building on a beachfront in the United States, yielding over 200 luxury units across 60 stories on 3.6 acres of waterfront property.
After being in the conception stage since 2018, the Gloria Drummond Patient Tower is now seeking site plan approvals. The $260 million venture seeks to expand Boca Raton Regional Hospital’s reach in the area.
Construction financing has been attained for Fort Lauderdale’s upcoming second tallest tower RD Las Olas, a 47-story mixed-use building planned to rise 494-feet above ground, or 499-feet above sea level, addressed as 201 South Federal Highway and 227 South Federal Highway in Las Olas. Bank Of America is providing an $84 million loan to prominent Coconut Grove-based developer the Related Group, working under an affiliate company referred to as RD East Las Olas LLC, to build the tower. CFE Architects is listed as the design architect, with Moriarty Construction as the general contractor.
Electronic Arts (EA), the video game developer behind the Sims, Apex Legends, and the Madden series, has a new headquarters planned for Orlando, FL. The $21 million building began construction in May 2020 and will complete later this year.
