15-Story, 4-Star Hotel ‘The Central’ Breaks Ground At 1301 Central Avenue In Downtown St. Petersburg
Developers Ellison Development, J Square Developers, DDA Development, and Backstreets Capital, LLC, recently broke ground on The Central, a transformative 2.1-acre project at 1301 Central Avenue, the site of the former St. Petersburg Police Department. This significant development introduces the first 4-star hotel in downtown St. Petersburg since The Vinoy, marking a notable addition to the city’s infrastructure.
