Mast Capital and a controlled affiliate of Starwood Capital Group broke ground on The Perigon, a 17-story residential development at 5333 Collins Avenue, noted for its unique position as the only new beachfront condominium project currently under construction in Miami Beach, with completion anticipated for late 2026. Designed by the globally acclaimed architecture firm OMA with ODP Architecture & Design as the architect of record and boasting interiors by Tara Bernerd & Partners, this building will feature 73 private residences. These homes offer expansive views of the Atlantic Ocean, the Miami city skyline, and Biscayne Bay, alongside over 20,000 square feet of unparalleled private amenities and exclusive dining experiences by Michelin-starred Chef Shaun Hergatt. Designed by Dutch architect Rem Koolhaas, founder of internationally acclaimed firm OMA New York and developed between Miami-based Mast Capital and Miami Beach-based Starwood Capital Group, The Perigon will become one of the most recognizable buildings in the Mid Beach neighborhood and will feature 82 spacious two- to four-bedroom residences elegantly designed by Tara Bernerd & Partners spanning 2,100 to 6,700 square feet. A 17-story condominium tower planned for 5333 Collins Avenue has been resubmitted to the Design Review Board of Miami Beach in response to comments made on the last review of the design proposal back in October. Designed by OMA New York with ODP Architecture & Design as the architect of record, the 213-foot-tall structure has been slightly scaled down in mass and received several refinements on the exterior. The project is being developed by 5333 Collins Acquisitions LLC, an entity owned by real estate developer Mast Capital, and is expected to yield 100 residential units, 183 parking spaces, and over 25,000 square feet of amenities.

New renderings and diagrams have been released via a Design Review Approval request for the proposal for 5333 Collins Avenue, a 17-story condominium tower planned to rise in Miami Beach. Designed by OMA New York with ODP Architecture & Designed listed as the architect of record and developed by Camilo Miguel Jr’s Mast Capital, the structure’s roofline should rise to 213-feet overlooking Indian Creek and the Atlantic Ocean, and yield 381,121 gross square feet including 246,906 square feet of residential space across 100 condo units, 183 parking spaces and nearly 23,000 square feet of amenities.

Mast Capital Plans To Replace La Costa Condos With A 19-Story Residential Tower At 5333 Collins Avenue In Miami Beach

Miami-based developer Mast Capital, led by Camilo Miguel Jr., is planning to build a 19-story luxury condo tower at 5333 Collins Avenue in Miami Beach, the site of the recently evacuated La Costa of Miami Beach Condos. The new building is projected to yield approximately 318,000 square feet of space including 100 residential units, 183 parking spots and offering unobstructed views of the oceanfront. According to The Real Deal, the developer has tapped OMA to design the building with ODP Architecture & Design as the architect of record.
