More details on the building program for Summit Brickell have been revealed from a recent filing, highlighting key aspects of the project and its contributions to the community. The 65-story, 750-foot tower at 1015 Southwest 1st Avenue (alternatively addressed as 88 SW 10th Street) in Miami’s Brickell Financial District is set to include 505 residential units, with 1,933 square feet of ground-floor retail and 500 internalized parking spaces. The development spans 1.011 acres between SW 10th and SW 11th Streets and is directly adjacent to the Brickell Metromover Station, positioning it as a major addition.

Mast Capital Submits Plans For Three Skyscrapers Where ‘Capital At Brickell’ Was Once Planned

Miami’s Planning Department and Office of Zoning has received an application from real estate developer Mast Capital proposing to build three new mixed-use skyscrapers in Brickell. The plans call for the construction of two 56-story towers and a 74-story tower in the western perimeters of the district. The project would be built on the site of two former developments that never came to fruition primarily addressed as 1420 South Miami Avenue, bounded by Southwest 14th Street on the north and Southwest 14th Terrace on the south with Southwest 1st Avenue to the west. Iris Escarra of GreenbergTraurig is representing the developer in the filing.

20-Story Merrick Towers Proposed For 3898 Shipping Avenue Near Coconut Grove, Miami

The City of Miami’s Urban Development Review Board has received an application seeking warrants, waivers and approvals for the development of Merrick Towers, two 20-story mixed-use buildings that will yield a combined 387,568 square feet of space at 3898 Shipping Avenue. Designed by Atelier305 and developed by 3898 Shipping Avenue LLC, the two structures will rise to approximately 226-feet, and will consist of 268 residential units, 32,300 square feet of office space and 6,342 square feet of ground floor retail. The property is located near Coconut Grove at the intersection of Shipping Avenue and Southwest 39th Avenue, and is within walking distance of the Douglas Road Metrorail Station and the Shop at Merrick Park.
