Developed by The Calta Group and with Winmar Construction as the general contractor, the project is set to welcome residents next summer. The milestone was marked with a luncheon on June 20th for over 150 construction workers, engineers, and other contractors.
Winmar Construction has initiated the foundation pour for The Avenue Hotel & Residences Coral Gables, a project developed by Roger Development Group. This Coral Gables-based, family-owned real estate development and management company is led by President & CEO Oscar Roger, Sr., alongside CFO Oscar Roger, Jr., who joined the company in 2013 and continues the family tradition of development and real estate services in Florida and internationally. The development, designed by Bermello Ajamil & Partners and inspired by the City of Light, comprises an eight-story building with 48 residences and a dynamic mix of ground-floor retail spaces. Located at 351 San Lorenzo Avenue, The Avenue Coral Gables Hotel & Residences is strategically situated across from the upscale shops and fine dining of Merrick Park.

Designed by Arquitectonica and Paredes Architects with interiors by am studio, the development includes the conversion of an existing commercial building, along with ground-up development comprising residential space, co-working space, and ground-floor retail. The milestone signifies the launch of construction for the second location for URBIN, a mixed-use brand that unites design-forward residences for short- or long-term rental with flex workspaces, wellness amenities, social activations, and lifestyle-oriented retail all in one location.
Miami-based real estate firm Location Ventures has broken ground on URBIN Miami Beach, a 7-story mixed-use development located at 1260 Washington Avenue in South Beach, Miami Beach. The milestone marks the construction commencement for the mixed-use brand that unites design-forward residences for short- or long-term rental with co-working spaces, wellness amenities, social activations, and lifestyle-oriented retail, all in one central address. On November 15, Location Ventures, development partners, and city officials gathered at the project site for the official groundbreaking ceremony. Special guests included Miami Beach Mayor Dan Gelber, Washington Avenue Business Development Executive Director Troy Wright, and Miami Beach Commissioner Alex Fernandez.
Construction is complete on Villa Valencia, 13-story luxury residential high-rise building at 515 Valencia Avenue in Coral Gables, Miami-Dade County. Designed by local architect Hamed Rodriguez Architects with Miami-based L&ND as the landscape architect and developed by Miami-based Location Ventures, the approximately 154-foot-tall structure comprises a distinguished collection of just 39 luxury condominiums ranging from two to three-bedroom units. The development integrates the revolutionary Delos’ DARWIN Home Wellness Intelligence network which provides advanced air purification, water filtration, lighting solutions and enhanced sleep systems. Villa Valencia recently received its Temporary Certificate of Occupancy (TCO); closings are currently underway, and residents have begun to occupy their residences. Winmar Construction served as the general contractor.
