Permits have been filed for demolition work and tree removal at 6001 Northeast 2nd Avenue, a lengthy 6.11-acre stretch of land located within the confines of the Magic City Innovation District emerging at the borders between Little River and Little Haiti in Miami. The site is located specifically located between Northeast 2nd and 4th Avenues with Northeast 60th Street directly to the south and Northeast 61st Street is the northern most thoroughfare. Plaza Equity Partners is listed as the owner of both permit applications, who is developing the mixed-use community along with investment firms Lune Rouge and Dragon Global. Plans for this particular site include an approved multifaceted 25-story residential tower, currently dubbed Parcel 11, designed by Arquitectonica which includes 522,806 square feet of space including 349 luxury residential units, 13,010 square feet of retail space, and an adjacent connected parking and amenities structure with 393 vehicle spaces.

13-Story ‘Motorsport Tower’ Proposed For The Magic City Innovation District In Little Haiti, Little River Neighborhoods

Miami’s Urban Development Review Board (UDRB) has received proposals for Motorsport Tower, a 13-story office building set to be developed on Parcel 8 of the emerging 17.75-acre Magic City Innovation District in Little Haiti. The 1.51-acre property is located near the southern boundary of the Little Haiti District along Northeast 4th Avenue and between Northeast 60th Street to the north and Northeast 59th Terrace to the south. Designed by Miami-based DB Lewis Architect-Thresholds Intl. and developed by Imperial Capital Group, LLC, an affiliate of Motorsport Network led by Mike Zoi, the development proposes 544,294 square feet of new construction including 206,352 square feet of office space, 79,676 square feet of commercial space, 390 parking spaces and 24 bicycle spaces.

A 25-story mixed-use tower proposed for the upcoming 17.75-acre Magic City Innovation District in Little Haiti has been submitted to Miami’s Urban Development Review Board for approvals. The developer behind the application is MCD Miami LLC, a partnership between real estate developer Plaza Equity Partners, brokerage firm Metro 1, and investment firms Luna Rouge and Dragon Global. Parcel 11 is the tentative name for the new building and it’ll be the first of several towers to rise in the new Special Area District, projected to yield 522,806 square feet of space including 349 residential units, 13,010 square feet of retail space, and an adjacent connected parking and amenities structure with 393 vehicle spaces.

New Renderings Revealed For Magic City Innovation District In Little Haiti

New renderings have been released for Magic City Innovation District, a massive multi-building transit-oriented mixed-use mega-development planned for Little Haiti in Miami. The project is comprised of 17 parcels of land spanning multiple blocks, primarily located between Northeast 2nd Avenue and Northeast 4th Court with Northeast 59th Terrace being the southern-most cross street and Northeast 64th Terrace as the northern-most street. Being developed by a partnership between Plaza Equity Partners, Metro 1 and Luna Rouge, the new district will yield residential, hotel, office, retail and expo space across 18-acres.
