Clara Homes Closes On $7.7 Million Development Site At 2601 NW 6th Avenue In Wynwood, Miami

Miami-based real estate development firm Clara Homes, founded by James Curnin, has announced the closure of a $7.7 million deal for a residential development site in Miami’s Wynwood neighborhood. The site at 2601 Northwest 6th Avenue spans 17,000 square feet and is planned for a 154-residence luxury rental building dubbed Clara Wynwood. The building, designed by architect Kobi Karp, is set to include at least 40% affordable workforce housing, aligning with the Live Local Act. Jordan Karp, an independent broker, represented Clara Homes in this transaction, while the seller, men’s clothing wholesaler Austin Burke, was represented by Jeremy S. Larkin and Joseph R. Gallaher.

The six-story midrise will feature 28 well-appointed apartments designed with high-quality finishes, personalized door attendants, and concierge service. The development aims to set a new standard for rental living in Miami, offering convenient on-site amenities and focusing on providing a comfortable, hassle-free home experience. Construction of the first building, led by OHLA, is expected to be completed in 2024.

Clara Homes, a Miami-based real estate firm specializing in residential and commercial development, custom single-family homes, and operations oversight, has announced closing a $26 million construction loan financed by Maxim Capital for Clara Bay Harbor. This three-building residential development, designed by S & E Architects, Inc. with Langan Engineering & Environmental Services as the civil engineer, will feature 150 residences and amenities. Clara Bay Harbor’s first building is slated to break ground this March, with completion anticipated for Spring/Summer 2024, and the entire master plan is expected to be completed by the end of 2025.
