The City Commission of Miramar will review a proposed large-scale mixed-use development named The Park Miramar, designed by 505Design, on October 16, 2024. The project, planned for a 125.8-acre site at the northeast corner of Red Road and Miramar Parkway, will include various residential, commercial, and recreational components.
A dual-branded Marriott hotel is being proposed just off Florida’s Turnpike in Miramar, marking another significant development in the growing area. The City Commission is set to review the site plan for the Fairfield Inn & TownePlace Suites on October 16. The project is being developed by Miramar Park Hotels, led by Sanjaykumar Patel, Sadhanaben Patel, and Akesha Sanjay, with Fort Lauderdale-based Luckey’s Management at the helm.
Miramar’s City Commission considered plans for “the Residences at Foxcroft Cove” on September 18th. Georgia-based Nurock Cos., which has the build site under contract from IT Webcam LLC, has plans for a mid-rise housing development.
Construction on Pinnacle at La Cabana could start in January 2024. The affordable five-story housing complex will offer 110 units, with 65 one-bedroom units and 45 two-bedroom units.
Related Companies has acquired Sorrento, an affordable housing community in Miramar, Florida, from Zom Foxcraft, an entity tied to ZOM Living and NRP Group for $48.2 million, equating to $150,625 per unit. The 320-unit, garden-style apartment community offers LIHTC income-restricted apartments at 8991 and 9577 Southwest 41st Street. The property was completed by ZOM Living in 2012 and was originally financed through the federal Low Income Housing Tax Credit Program and various state and county debt financing programs.
