Foundation pouring is complete on the site of Okan Tower, a 70-story mixed-use skyscraper under construction at 555 North Miami Avenue in downtown Miami. International property developer Okan Group recently celebrated this significant milestone for their highly anticipated development, which is set to become the area’s next major mixed-use megaplex. The 36-hour continuous pour began on Friday, March 29, and was expertly managed by general contractor Jacob Companies in a joint venture with Okan Construction.

L&L Holding Company and Oak Row Equities, along with project partner Shorenstein Properties and co-investor Claure Group, have topped off construction on the Residences at The Wynwood Plaza (the “Residences”), the luxury apartment community the team is developing as part of a one-million-square-foot mixed-use campus in Miami’s vibrant Wynwood Arts District. Designed by Gensler, the Residences will comprise 509 thoughtfully appointed high-end rental units, ranging in size from spacious studios to two-bedroom apartments. Mast Capital, in partnership with Rockpoint, has achieved a notable construction milestone by topping off 3900 Alton Road. This nine-story residential building in Miami Beach, designed by the esteemed Arquitectonica with landscape architecture by Within Hults + Partners, adds 178 new units to the city’s housing market, establishing it as a premier location for upscale rental accommodations. Kaufman Lynn Construction, serving as the general contractor, recently showcased a video on LinkedIn celebrating the topping ceremony. JGR Construction, Inc. oversees the structural work, and US American Concrete oversees concrete tasks. Coastal Metal is responsible for metalwork, while AKO Plumbing Corp is the plumbing contractor. Morrow Equipment has two tower cranes at the site. Doka USA provides formwork solutions, and NV5, Inc. handles construction materials testing.
