Fort Lauderdale’s Development Review Committee is set to review a Site Plan Level III application for The Amalfi, a 22-story luxury condominium tower designed by Kobi Karp Architecture and proposed by Baldwin, New York-based Moore Group Corporation. Located at 2317 North Ocean Boulevard, the project will offer 38 residential units and amenities within a 0.84-acre property strategically positioned between the Intercoastal Waterway and the Atlantic Ocean. This prime location within the vibrant Central Beach neighborhood, encompassing five lots assembled by the developer for $5.54 million between 2021 and 2022, leverages scenic vistas and accessibility to enhance its residential appeal. The committee is scheduled to consider plans on May 28.

A 15-story hotel has been proposed at 3001 Alhambra Street in Central Beach, Fort Lauderdale. Roslyn Heights, NY-based Hariom Realty LLC, is developing the 200-foot-tall building. The development is going by the name 42 Hotel and is planned to encompass 90,260 gross square feet of space, including 28,693 square feet of lodging space spread across 75 keys, 984 square feet of ancillary retail, 3,771 square feet of amenities, and 47 parking spaces. Adache Group Architects is listed as the architect, and Andres Escobar is the interior designer.

Developer Secures $240 Million Loan To Construct The Tallest Residential Development On Fort Lauderdale Beach.

Developer Kolter Urban has secured $240M in construction financing for Selene Oceanfront Residences, a two-towered, 26-story residential development located at 151 North Seabreeze Drive in Central Beach, Fort Lauderdale. Designed by Kobi Karp Architects with interiors by ID & Design International, the development will comprise 194 exceptionally spacious two- and three-bedroom residences ranging from 1,400 to 3,200 square feet with a limited collection of penthouses. Wells Fargo Bank, an administrative agent for a group of lenders, provided the loan for the property, which is set to become the tallest residential development on Fort Lauderdale Beach. Coastal Construction is the general contractor.

$90 Million Renovation And Expansion Of Swimming Hall Of Fame Awaits City’s Approval In Fort Lauderdale

Hall Of Fame Partners, a partnership between Capital Group P3 and Hensel Phelps Construction Company have submitted a proposal to redevelop Fort Lauderdale’s International Swimming Hall of Fame in Central Beach. Located at 1 Hall of Fame Drive and 501 Sea Breeze Boulevard, the $90 million renovation and expansion is comprised of the construction of two new five story towers: a 105-foot-tall museum on the west side of the peninsula and a 94-story welcome center on the east side. The development will include a ballroom with a rooftop restaurant, a covered teaching pool, and 20,000 square feet of museum space. as well as a cafe, office and commercial space, and parking for 202 vehicles. The project gained a preliminary approval from the city commission, but still need’s a final city vote to move forward.

Renderings Revealed For 2851 And 2901 Northeast 9th Court In Central Beach, Fort Lauderdale

Renderings and site plans have been revealed in a new filing to Fort Lauderdale’s Design Review Committee for 2851 and 2901 Northeast 9th Court, two 12-story mixed-use buildings proposed to rise 120-feet each in the Sunrise Lane Area District of Central Beach. Designed by NBWW Architects and developed by Sunrise FTL Ventures LLLP, an affiliate of Miami-based Integra Investments, the two structures will yield a combined 242,545 square feet split between a condominium tower and a hotel tower. Each tower will have approximately 200-feet of frontage along Northeast 9th Court as well as East Sunrise Boulevard, bound by North Birch Road on the east and the Sunrise East Condominium on the west. Design Studio Boca is the landscape architect with Flynn Engineering as the civil engineer.
