Developer Kolter Urban has secured $240M in construction financing for Selene Oceanfront Residences, a two-towered, 26-story residential development underway at 151 North Seabreeze Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale Beach. Designed by Kobi Karp Architects with interiors by ID & Design International, the development will comprise 194 exceptionally spacious two- and three-bedroom residences ranging from 1,400 to 3,200 square feet with a limited collection of penthouses. Wells Fargo Bank, an administrative agent for a group of lenders, provided the loan for the property, which is set to become the tallest residential development on Fort Lauderdale Beach. Coastal Construction is the general contractor.
The development brings contemporary architecture together with a host of indoor and outdoor resort-style amenities, including two elevated pool terraces with a resort-style pool, a lap fitness pool and a spa, contemporary poolside cabanas and day beds, open gathering spaces and intimate conversation areas, an outdoor kitchen, multiple fire pit lounge areas and a pavilion-shaded pool bar. The base of the property will boast over 5,400 square feet of restaurant space, providing an unrivaled oceanfront dining experience. Douglas Elliman is the exclusive sales team for Selene Oceanfront Residences.
Selene’s two slender towers rise 300 feet, making the project the tallest luxury condominium on Fort Lauderdale Beach offering expansive homes in the sky. At street level, lushly landscaped grounds and elegant plazas at each corner create a seamless transition to the surrounding neighborhood and provide direct access to the beachfront. Selene places residents near the very best of Fort Lauderdale’s shopping, dining, entertainment, and water-sporting destinations, including Las Olas Boulevard with a vibrant array of cafes, restaurants, and shops.
Amenities at Selene Oceanfront Residences will include two pool decks with cabanas and day beds, open gathering spaces, a summer kitchen, several fire pits, a pool bar, a two-story fitness center, a dog run, a theater room, game rooms, a sports bar, social rooms, and a coworking center.
With over 25 years of successful development experience, Kolter Urban has completed or is in the process of developing in excess of $4.9 billion in residential projects including over 5,300 waterfront, water view, and amenity-rich urban condominium and townhome residences. These exceptional residences are in some of the most desirable locations in Florida and the Southeast, including the Palm Beaches, Fort Lauderdale, Sarasota, St. Petersburg, Tampa, and Atlanta.
