South Florida-Based Cymbal DLT Completes Construction of Laguna Gardens Apartments in Miami Gardens

Cymbal DLT Companies (Cymbal DLT) has completed construction on Laguna Gardens, a 341-unit garden-style multifamily community designed by the award-winning international design firm Jo Palma and Partners, located in the City of Miami Gardens. The development is now welcoming its first tenants after successfully issuing the initial Temporary Certificate of Occupancy (TCO). Situated at 20775 Northwest 17th Avenue, the community spans 10 low-rise buildings across 14 acres adjacent to Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium. It offers apartments ranging from one to three bedrooms, between 650 and 1,330 square feet, and monthly rental prices starting at $2,000.

Housing Trust Group & Elite Equity Development break ground on Phase 2 of the ‘Naranja Grand’ Affordable Housing Community in Leisure City

A joint venture between Housing Trust Group (HTG) and Miami Lakes-based Elite Equity Development, Inc. (EED), has closed on financing and commenced construction on Naranja Grand II, a new $71 million affordable apartment community comprised of 200 residences in Homestead, Southwest Miami-Dade County. Naranja Grand II is the second phase of a comprehensive two-phase development, addressing a critical need for affordable and workforce housing in Miami-Dade County. The first phase of Naranja Grand – which caters to seniors aged 55 and older – commenced construction on its 120 residences in January. The design and construction team for Naranja Grand II includes ATL Architecture, general contractor Gomez Construction, engineer EAC Consulting, interior design by Builders Design, and landscape architecture by Sieger Suarez Architects.

Renderings have been revealed for Paseo Del Rio, a 7-story mixed-income residential building at 1401 Northwest 7th Street in the East Little Havana neighborhood of Miami. Developed by Paseo Del Rio, LLC, and affiliate company of the Related Group, and designed by Modis Architects, the 75-foot-tall building will yield 182 units that will provide housing to low and extremely low income households.

Permits have been filed for the redevelopment of 13924 SW 260th Street in Naranja, a multi-unit affordable housing complex owned by Miami-Dade County. The site is bounded by SW 260th Street to the north, SW 139th Avenue to the east, Bauer Drive to the south and SW 139th Court to the west. The current development at this location features 116 units within 30 two-story buildings, and the applicant is proposing to redevelop the site into 8 three-story buildings yielding 273,318 square feet of residential space across 276 units. Arthur Mays & Naranja Master Tenant, LLC is listed as the owner of the application.
