Florida-based developer Urban Network Capital Group (UNCG) has acquired a $24 million construction loan from LV Lending to develop The Flats Orlando, a 1.9-acre condo-hotel resort near Orlando’s central area. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued building permits for Ombelle, a large-scale two-tower mixed-use development planned for 300 Northeast 3rd Avenue in Flagler Village, Fort Lauderdale. Designed by ODA Architecture and developed by Brooklyn-based Dependable Equities, the 43-story project will yield approximately 1.5 million square feet of space, including 959 rental dwelling units, over 11,000 square feet of retail space, and more than 1,000 parking spaces. YIMBY spotted new renderings and diagrams from a recent submittal to the Development Review Committee (DRC) for 101 Southeast 7th Street, a new tubular 45-story mixed-use skyscraper proposed south of the New River on a 1.26-acre development site near Southeast 1st Avenue between Southeast 6th Court and Southeast 7th Street in Downtown Fort Lauderdale. Designed by ODA Architecture and developed by 116 SE 6th Court Towers LLC, an entity managed by New Jersey-based Levon Capital LLC, the nearly 557-foot-tall structure would contain 572,498 square feet of space, including 630 residential units, 5,682 square feet of ground-floor commercial space, and 713 parking spaces. Witkin Hults + Partners is listed as the landscape architect, and Flynn Engineering is the civil engineer. Toothaker is the land use attorney.

Sculptural 563-Foot-Tall Tower Designed By ODA New York Proposed For 633 SE 3rd Avenue In Fort Lauderdale

Another building exceeding the 500-foot mark has been proposed to rise in Fort Lauderdale. Dependable Equities, a Brooklyn, NY-based real estate developer, under the South of River Associates, LLC has filed plans for a second large scale mixed-use project in the city’s Downtown Core. Proposed to rise 563-feet, the sculptural 47-story structure would surpass the current tallest building, 100 Las Olas, and is one of the tallest amongst several other proposals over 500-feet, slated to yield 830 residential units, 12,798 square feet of commercial space and a 9-story parking garage for 951 vehicles integrated into the podium. The project’s design is led by Eran Chen of ODA New York with Flynn Engineering as the civil engineer and Witkin Hults + Partners as the landscape architect.
