Brooklyn-Based Dependable Equities Proposes 1,100 Units Across Two 43-Story Towers In Fort Lauderdale

Brooklyn-based developer Dependable Equities LLC has requested site plans approvals from the Development Review Committee for Ombelle, a 1,043,963-square-foot mixed-use development comprised of two mirrored 43-story towers at 300 Northeast 3rd Avenue in the growing Flagler Village neighborhood of Fort Lauderdale. With New York-based ODA Architecture onboard for architectural and landscape design, Witkins Hults + Partners as the landscape architect of record and Flynn Engineering as the civil engineer, the project will rise 493-feet over Fort Lauderdale’s Downtown Core and yield 1,100 dwelling units, 11,217 square feet of retail space and 1,100 parking spaces.

Dependable Equities hopes to move forward with a mixed-use complex in Broward County, Florida. Dubbed “the Ombelle,” the venture will offer 1,100 homes in two 43-story towers. Records show that the towers will measure 493 feet high.

1.73 Million-Square-Foot Mixed-Use Tower Proposed To Become Fort Lauderdale’s Tallest At 546-Feet.

Plans to build Fort Lauderdale’s tallest building have been submitted to the Development Review Committee for 300 West Broward Boulevard, a 48-story mixed-use development proposed to rise in Downtown Fort Lauderdale. The property is more specifically located in the Sailboat Bend neighborhood near Las Olas and Beverly Heights, fronting West Broward Boulevard to the north in between Southwest 4th Avenue and Nugent Avenue to the west and east. The tower would conveniently rise approximately 2 blocks away from the Brightline Fort Lauderdale train station and the Riverwalk north of the New River. K-A 300 Broward JV LLC, a joint between New York-based Kushner Companies and Denver-based AIMCO, is listed as the developer – who have the development under contract from FTL/AD LTD. ODA Architecture is listed as the design and landscape architect with Stantec as the architect of record, and Witkin Hults + Partners as the landscape architect of record.
