London Bay Development Group, a leading Southwest Florida developer, has officially begun construction on Saltleaf Marina, an integral component of the expansive 500-acre coastal village of Saltleaf on Estero Bay. The marina, boasting 72 slips and a top-notch waterfront eatery, will become an essential amenity for Saltleaf residents and the wider community.

This development marks the initial phase of Saltleaf, following last year’s groundbreaking ceremony for its golf course. The master-planned community, situated on one of the final remaining pristine stretches of waterfront in Southwest Florida, aims to foster a connection between people and nature. Upon completion, Saltleaf will feature Saltleaf Golf Preserve, The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Estero Bay, a lively town center, and additional residential options.

The marina, catering to boats up to 30 feet long, will offer new access points to Estero Bay and the Gulf of Mexico, with slips available for public use and annual lease. It will also grant residents of The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Estero Bay, unparalleled convenience for coastal experiences, situated right next to the 30-acre luxury property.

The groundbreaking ceremony saw Mark Wilson, CEO of London Bay Development Group, Bonita Springs City Council Members Laura Carr and Jamie Bogacz, and other prominent figures celebrating the construction launch.

The development of Saltleaf on Estero Bay has been steadily advancing, with Saltleaf Golf Preserve’s 18-hole course, designed by golf legend Raymond Floyd, set to open later this year. The marina is slated for completion in 2025, in tandem with The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Estero Bay, breaking ground this summer. Wilson expressed pride in Saltleaf’s progress, emphasizing the marina’s uniqueness and contribution to the coastal village’s appeal.

Once finished, Saltleaf will offer a harmonious blend of home and town, where neighborhood trails lead to stunning destinations and many local activities. Conveniently located just 20 minutes from Southwest Florida International Airport and near the charming city of Bonita Springs, Saltleaf will provide easy access to sugar-white sand beaches, boutique shopping, galleries, and exceptional dining, with Naples only a short drive away.
