Museum of Ice Cream (MOIC), the beloved interactive ice cream-themed environment, is set to establish a permanent presence in Miami. The eagerly anticipated new location, slated to open in early 2024, will find its home at Miami Worldcenter, a vibrant development in Downtown Miami. The 14,000+ square-foot space will be thoughtfully designed by MOIC’s in-house team, incorporating AI technology to create an enchanting and immersive experience, much like its highly successful pop-up predecessors.

Initially making its debut in Miami Beach as a temporary pop-up in 2017, MOIC quickly became a sensation, extending its stay multiple times due to overwhelming demand. In November 2022, it returned for a weekend as an ice cream paradise pop-up pool party at the exclusive Hotel Greystone. Now, MOIC is ready to take place at Miami Worldcenter, captivating visitors with its whimsical exhibits that ignite the imagination.

The multi-platform experience will span two floors, transporting guests into a world of delight and surprise. Inspired by the vibrant energy of Miami, the installations will include the Cream Liner, a luxury airliner experience with a retro touch, and Mary-E’s Diner, a hub for ice cream-themed treats and beverages. Visitors can also explore The Hall of Freezers, a space filled with intriguing refrigerator doors, and of course, immerse themselves in MOIC’s iconic sprinkle pool. Throughout the 60-90 minute journey, guests will be treated to unlimited sweet delights from five stations, guided by # the talented performers of #TeamMOIC.

Maryellis Bunn, Co-Founder and CEO of the Museum of Ice Cream, expressed excitement about the permanent location in Miami, highlighting the city’s vibrant culture and artistic creativity. As the museum expands, Miami’s Downtown area, surrounded by popular destinations like Wynwood Arts District and the Design District, is a natural fit for MOIC to connect with the local community and visitors worldwide.

Miami Worldcenter, a $6 billion mixed-use destination in Downtown Miami, serves as an ideal backdrop for MOIC’s permanent Miami location. Spanning 27 acres, the development offers a diverse mix of residential, commercial, and hospitality spaces, complemented by retail, dining, and entertainment options. Nitin Motwani, Managing Partner of Miami Worldcenter Associates, expressed enthusiasm about the addition of Museum of Ice Cream, foreseeing its appeal to both locals and tourists and its contribution to Miami’s reputation as an arts and culture destination.
