In the first quarter of 2023, construction started on Millenia Park, a 43-acre, mixed-use development in Orlando. The venture involves redeveloping the Eaglewood Golf Club, which closed in 2008.
The Orlando Business Journal reports that the project will include 960 luxury condos across eight towers, along with 25,000 square feet of commercial space. With sitework well under way, the venture is slated for a 2025 delivery. Aventura-based MIR Developments is leading the project.
Sources reported in 2020 that the venture would cost more than $180 million to complete, with the end goal of creating jobs and offering homes to Central Florida’s already-tight housing market. Sixty percent of the condos’ first phase have already been sold. Millenia Park’s website shares that each residence will feature “modern amenities and thoughtfully-designed recreational areas, making it the ideal home for a sophisticated, family-focused clientele.”
Among the many communal amenities, some include a resort-style swimming pool, tennis courts, fenced-in dog park, and a waterfront park with a running trail. LB Construction of South Florida Inc. is the general contractor. In total, Millenia Park will require 1.2 million square feet of new construction.
Our sources don’t list an exact address for Millenia Park; yet, we know that it’ll be two miles from Universal Orlando’s Epic Universe theme park and located near I-4.
