Cornerstone is a new residential development unfolding in Jupiter, Florida. The luxury development will offer 15 units in a five-story building, with each home measuring 2,000 to 4,000 square feet each. In 2017, the Palm Beach Post reported that homes would start at $800,000––although this may have changed.
Cornerstone’s first floor will comprise 2,500 square feet of retail space. That space will comprise high-end retail stores. Additional amenities include a 14-slip boating dock, green roof terrace, and 48 parking spots—two per unit. Conceptual renderings reveal a mid-rise building with a coastal post-modernist design, which is fitting since the development overlooks the Lake Worth Creek.
Construction began on the development in April 2020 and required demolishing an already-existing three-story structure. Seach Construction is the general contractor. The owner, Jupiter Investments, purchased the 1.03-acre build site for about $550,000 in 1993.
Other involved entities on the project include Robert M. Swedroe, Architects & Planners (the architect) and Simmons & White Inc. (the civil engineer). In total, the development requires at least 46,000 square feet of new construction. The project is scheduled to finish construction in late 2022.
Cornerstone’s address is listed as 50 South US Highway One, Jupiter, Florida, 33477, in Palm Beach County.
