Developers hope to move forward with Vistera of Venice, a $250.8 million residential development in Venice, Florida. The community will offer 665 units, mostly comprising townhomes and condos. The Sarasota Herald-Tribune suggests that Vistera of Venice will actually be two complexes in one: the Palm of Vistera and the Iris of Vistera. The communities’ buildings will measure no more than 54.7 feet tall.
Right now, the project is requesting approval from various officials. Sources note that if everything goes according to plan, the general contractor could break ground sometime in March 2023. Based on the size alone, the project could take more than 18 months to complete. Slocum Platts Architects is the architect.
It shared conceptual renderings, noting that most townhomes will measure two stories above grade, while the condos will be housed in buildings measuring four stories. Plans call for more than 800 parking spots, anywhere from two to 1.75 spots per unit. Many units are also studios and one-bedroom layout plans.
NRP Group is the developer, and AM Engineering LLC is the civil engineer. They are headquartered in Cleveland and Sarasota, respectively. Sources list Vistera of Venice’s address as Laurel Road East, Venice, Florida, 34275, in Sarasota County.
