Sources report that construction’s expected to start on Le Park 27 in June 2023. At the time of publication, the venture was in its early planning stages. However, the development aims to alleviate the housing crisis in Miami-Dade County.
The seven-story mixed-use apartment building will rest on a .84-acre build site. The South Florida Business Journal reports that the community would require more than 90,000 square feet of new construction and offer 90 affordable housing units.
The homes would measure 590 square feet to 990 square feet, ranging from one-bedroom to three-bedroom layout plans. In addition to the 90 homes, plans call for 5,952 square feet of commercial space and 39 ground-level parking spots.
Developers previously wanted to build a three-story apartment building on the site, but that plan never came to fruition. Designs by Casandra is the architect. It shared conceptual renderings online, showing a mid-rise building with no major amenity centers.
Doramid LLC is the developer. It filed the administrative paperwork for the project in August 2022. Le Park 27 could cost $34 million to complete, and once construction starts, the venture could finish within 18 months.
Le Park 27’s address is Northwest 27th Avenue and Northwest 66th Street, Gladeview, Florida, 33147, in Miami-Dade County.
