Emery Cove is an affordable housing development unfolding in Tallahassee, Florida. The affordable housing community is slated for a spring 2024 opening, offering 96 housing units.
They will be spread across four three-story wood-framed buildings. Per the venture’s website, floorplans range from one-bedroom to three-bedroom units, measuring 653 square feet to 1,185 square feet each.
There are four layout plans to choose from: one-bedroom, one-bathroom units; two-bedroom, two-bathroom units; two-bedroom, two-bathroom units on a corner; and three-bedroom and two-bedroom units. Apartment amenities include walk-in closets, washer/dryer rentals, and energy-efficient appliances.
Communal amenities include a children’s playground, outdoor pavilions with grilling stations, a community center, and a fitness center. There’s also a dog park intended for pets 25 pounds or less. Summit Contracting Group reports that the garden-style community will comprise 104,100 square feet of new construction.
Another source notes that it will rest on a build site measuring 8.82 acres. Prior to the start of construction, Google Earth’s rendering show that the build site was undeveloped.
Emery Cove’s address is 2822 Old Saint Augustine Road, Tallahassee, Florida, 32301, in Leon County. The community will be south of I-10 and north of the St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge.
