In October 2022, construction wrapped up on Mission Pointe, a 300-unit luxury apartment complex in Orlando, Florida. Now, developers have plans for the development’s second phase. According to GrowthSpotter, plans call for an additional 176 units, bringing the community’s available units to over 400.
Scott + Cormia, the architect that designed Mission Pointe’s first phase, will also be behind the second one. Conceptual renderings show that the buildings match the already-existing design. The homes themselves will likely mirror those offered in the first phase, ranging from one-bedroom to three-bedroom layout plans.
In addition to the homes, plans call for a new pool deck, kayak launch, and pickle ball courts. There will also be expanded plumbing infrastructure to accommodate the resident density. The two phases will share a leasing office.
The Cornerstone Group and Bainbridge Companies are working together on the venture. The Orlando Business Journal reports that construction could start by the end of this year. If everything goes according to plan, Mission Pointe 2 is expected to open in 2025.
Demand is expected to be high for these apartments, as Mission Pointe 1 was 70 percent leased within its first six months. Our sources don’t list an address for Mission Pointe 2. Yet, we know that it will be situated by the first phase, which is located at 12231 Pioneers Way, Orlando, Florida, 32832, in Orange County.
