Indianapolis Thompson Thrift has plans for a residential community near The Villages in Central Florida. Our sources indicate that Standard441 will offer 300 luxury units, ranging from one-bedroom to three-bedroom homes spread across multiple three-story buildings.
The Orlando Business Journal reports that residences come outfitted with stainless steel appliances, hardwood-style plank flooring, and built-in smart-home technology that’s compatible with Amazon’s Alexa. Select homes come with patios and balconies.
Communal amenities at the 15-acre complex include a resort-style heated swimming pool, 24-hour fitness center, pickleball court, dog park, and electric vehicle charging stations. Information from Studio M. Architecture & Planning reports that Standard441 will require more than 378,000 square feet of new construction.
Thompson Thrift Construction, a subsidiary of Thompson Thrift, intends to finish construction on the $75 million venture in late 2024. Other parties involved in the project include Upham Inc., Landscape Architectural Services LLC, Integrity Structural Corporation, and Jordan and Skala Engineers.
Standard441 isn’t the only project that developer Thompson Thrift has in its pipeline right now. Earlier this year, the firm announced plans for The Quinn and The Concord. They are both multi-family housing developments that will offer 324 units and 257 units, respectively.
Our sources don’t list an exact address for Standard441. However, it’s located northeast of The Villages and across U.S. 441 from UF Health The Villages Hospital.
