Plans have been announced for Hyatt Centric Wynwood, an 8-story, full-service hotel planned at 160 NW 28 Street in Miami’s Wynwood neighborhood. The project is being developed by Robert Finvarb Companies in partnership with The Restaurant People, with hotel operations to be led by MIA Hospitality Management.

The proposed development will rise just two blocks north of Wynwood Walls and is planned as the neighborhood’s first full-service, branded lifestyle hotel to offer traditionally sized guest accommodations. Upon completion, the hotel will contain 116 guest rooms, including six one-bedroom suites.

Hyatt Centric Wynwood will include a range of amenities, including approximately 2,000 square feet of meeting space, a rooftop pool and bar, a ground-floor restaurant spanning roughly 5,900 square feet, and a 3,000-square-foot rooftop bar and lounge. All food and beverage venues will be conceptualized and operated by The Restaurant People.

“Wynwood has become one of the most vibrant cultural destinations in the country, and the neighborhood deserves a full-service, design-forward hotel that reflects that energy,” states Robert Finvarb, Founder of Robert Finvarb Companies and Co-Founder of MIA Hospitality Management. “This Hyatt Centric project represents the next step in the Wynwood hospitality landscape, and we are proud to partner with The Restaurant People and MIA Hospitality Management to bring that full-service, lifestyle hotel experience to the neighborhood.”

Hotel operations will be overseen by MIA Hospitality Management, which will manage the property’s service model and guest experience following completion.

“Our team is excited to introduce a new standard of hospitality to Wynwood,” said Brian Vujnovic, CEO and Co-Founder of MIA Hospitality Management. “We look forward to creating an elevated, service-driven hotel experience that feels both connected to the neighborhood and aligned with the expectations of today’s modern traveler. Working alongside Robert Finvarb Companies and The Restaurant People on such a significant project is an incredible opportunity for MIA Hospitality Management.”

The Restaurant People will lead all culinary programming at the hotel, with an emphasis on spaces designed to serve both visitors and local residents.

“As Wynwood continues to grow with new residences and offices, it’s important that its hospitality spaces feel rooted in the neighborhood,” said Tim Petrillo, Co-Founder and CEO of The Restaurant People. “At the newly developed Hyatt Centric Wynwood, our vision is to create a restaurant and rooftop bar that truly belongs to the community; a place where locals and visitors alike can gather, whether they’re in town for business, on vacation, or simply out enjoying the neighborhood. We’re excited to once again partner with Robert Finvarb Company and MIA Hospitality Management to bring a space that reflects Wynwood’s energy and sense of connection.”

Construction on Hyatt Centric Wynwood is anticipated to begin in spring 2026, with completion and opening planned for late 2028. Additional details regarding the hotel’s restaurant and rooftop concepts are expected to be released closer to the start of construction.
