LORE Development Group and Element Development have secured a $58 million construction loan for The Lincoln, an eight-story condominium development at 2650 Lincoln Avenue in Miami’s Coconut Grove neighborhood. Designed by Miami-based Paredes Architects, with interiors by Design Philosophy and façade consulting by Rio de Janeiro-based Cité Arquitetura, the building will yield 48 residences. Winmar Construction is the general contractor.

Construction Progresses on the I-395 Signature Bridge in Downtown Miami

Construction continues to progress on the I-395 Signature Bridge, a 1,025-foot-long, six-arch structure spanning NE 2nd Avenue and Biscayne Boulevard in Downtown Miami. Designed by Donald MacDonald Architects with HDR serving as engineer of record for the bridge and I-395 roadways, the structure is being built by the Archer Western-de Moya Group joint venture. The bridge forms part of the broader I-395/S.R. 836/I-95 reconstruction project, undertaken by the Florida Department of Transportation and the Greater Miami Expressway Agency.

Demolition has been completed at 800 2nd Avenue South in Downtown St. Petersburg, clearing a three-acre site for two 31-story apartment towers developed by Echelon and Third Lake Partners. Designed by ARC3 Architecture, the 343-foot-tall development is planned to yield 824 apartments and more than 30,000 square feet of retail space, with a total floor area exceeding 1.7 million square feet.
