A Fort Lauderdale-based developer has filed civil plans for a unique mixed-use project in Jacksonville. The venture involves redeveloping the vacant National Guard Armory near downtown into an artist hub.
The Residences at 801 Whiting is expected to open in 2024. The seven-story community will comprise 104 luxury units.

The Allen Morris Company has announced plans for a mixed-use development at 3101 Grand Avenue, located at the intersection of Grand Avenue, Matilda Street, and Florida Avenue in Coconut Grove. Covering approximately 1.7 acres, the project will include office, residential, and retail spaces designed to blend seamlessly with the neighborhood’s natural and cultural fabric. The development is a collaboration between Allen Morris Co. and the Espinosa family, long-time property owners who have operated a business on the site since 1961.
