Construction is slated to start this summer on a mixed-use housing project in Boynton Beach.

Atlantic Square has officially opened at 777 NW 2nd Avenue in Miami’s Overtown neighborhood, marking the completion of what is being described as Miami-Dade County’s largest single-phase mixed-income transit-oriented development. Designed by Corwil Architects and developed through a partnership between Atlantic Pacific Companies, Greater Bethel AME, Palmetto Homes, GTIS Partners, and PNC Real Estate, the 36-story tower yields 616 apartments, including 320 workforce housing units and 40 affordable housing units, along with approximately 25,000 square feet of ground-floor retail and restaurant space.

Developer Baron Property Group is one step closer to realizing a long-anticipated project in Miami. The firm, now working in partnership with LargaVista Companies, secured $30 million in construction financing for Merrick Parc.

Construction has gone vertical on Bentley Residences Miami, a 62-story luxury residential tower rising in Sunny Isles Beach. Designed by Sieger Suarez Architects in collaboration with Bentley Motors and developed by Dezer Development, the 716-foot-tall structure will yield 216 condominium residences with private in-unit sky garages accessed by the patented Dezervator vehicle elevator system. The tower will also include more than 20,000 square feet of amenity space, including a private restaurant by four-time James Beard Award-winning chef Todd English, wellness and fitness facilities, a cinema, whiskey bar, cigar lounge, beach club, and oceanfront pool deck. The beachfront property is located at 18401 Collins Avenue along the Atlantic Ocean, between Turnberry Ocean Club Residences to the north and Sahara Beach Club Condo to the south.

Construction has begun on the Helen and Jacob Shaham Academic Medical Center, a 7-story academic and healthcare facility planned for the campus of Florida International University in Miami. The $158 million project is being developed through a partnership between Florida International University’s Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine and Baptist Health South Florida, with Stantec serving as architect and a joint venture between Robins & Morton and Thornton Construction serving as general contractor. Upon completion in 2028, the facility will encompass approximately 163,000 square feet of academic, research, and outpatient healthcare space.
