The Perigon, a 17-story ultra-luxury condominium tower rising on a two-acre beachfront parcel at 5333 Collins Avenue in Miami Beach’s Mid-Beach neighborhood, has reached a significant construction milestone with the completion of its first hydrostatic concrete slab pour. The operation involved approximately nine continuous pouring hours, using 520 cubic yards of concrete, 60 tons of reinforcing steel, and 60 truckloads of material.

Mast Capital, in partnership with Starwood Capital, is developing the project. Moss Construction is the general contractor. C&C Concrete Pumping handles concrete operations with Cemex providing materials and Malcom Drilling handling earthworks. Completion is targeted for 2027.

Designed by internationally renowned architecture firm OMA, led by Rem Koolhaas, The Perigon is OMA’s first residential project in Miami Beach. The tower’s diamond-shaped massing and flowing curves are articulated through expansive glass façades and a sculptural silhouette that responds to its oceanfront surroundings. Interiors are by Tara Bernerd & Partners.

Once complete, the development will deliver 73 luxury residences with sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean, Biscayne Bay, and the Miami skyline. The residences are complemented by approximately 40,000 square feet of curated indoor and outdoor amenities.

The property will also feature a private oceanfront restaurant and speakeasy conceptualized by Michelin-starred chef Shaun Hergatt, who will oversee all food and beverage offerings.
