The Miami Beach Planning Board has recommended approval of Robert Rivani’s $50 million proposal to expand The Rivani, a six-story commercial office building at 1691 Michigan Avenue in South Beach. The proposal would add 36,000 square feet of office space while reducing parking within the property’s seven-story garage.

The St. Petersburg Development Review Commission has approved the redevelopment of Tierra Verde Marina, a seven-acre waterfront property at 100 Pinellas Bayway South in Tierra Verde. Developed by Greenleaf Capital, the proposal calls for the construction of two 72-foot dry-storage rack buildings, a three-story Harbor House pavilion with a public restaurant, outdoor balcony seating, and a third-floor bar, along with retail space, marina offices, upgraded fueling infrastructure, expanded landscaping buffers, stormwater improvements, and a private pool area for marina members.
Turner Construction Company has been selected as general contractor for Westcourt Orlando, a $500 million mixed-use development planned directly north of Kia Center at 401 West Church Street in Downtown Orlando. Developed by JMA Ventures and designed by Baker Barrios with McNamara • Salvia serving as structural engineer of record, the arena-adjacent district is planned to span nearly 1 million square feet across an 8.5-acre site bounded by West Church Street, Division Avenue, West Central Boulevard, and South Hughey Avenue.
Foundation work is progressing at Edge House Miami, a 57-story residential tower under construction at 1825 NE 4th Avenue in Miami’s Edgewater neighborhood. Developed by Grupo T&C and designed by Kobi Karp Architecture & Interior Design, the 649-foot-tall structure will yield 608 turnkey residential units. Thornton Construction Company is serving as general contractor.
