The project is led by Hines and Urban Street Development and marks a major milestone within the ongoing transformation of the former FAT Village arts district into a mixed use neighborhood on 5.6 acres in downtown Fort Lauderdale. Las Olas Chabad Jewish Center Proposes New Three-Story Facility at 1404 E Las Olas Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale

Plans have been submitted to the City of Fort Lauderdale’s Development Review Committee for a new, expanded home for the Las Olas Chabad Jewish Center. Located along East Las Olas Boulevard in Broward County, the proposed three-story, 70-foot-tall building will replace the Chabad’s current facility at 1302 East Las Olas Boulevard, relocating approximately 200 feet east to the southwest corner of SE 15th Avenue and East Las Olas Boulevard. The project is led by Las Olas Chabad, with design by Steven L. Cohen and Associates, civil engineering by Scheffer Mote & Ricks, and landscape architecture by EcoPlan.
