A multi-family development named “Lion Gardens Apartments” is set to rise on the former site of Parliament House in Orlando. The upscale yet eco-friendly community will feature a total of 294 apartments spread across three, four-story buildings.
The homes would include one-bedroom to three-bedroom floorplans. Interior amenities include high-end finishings and other features that intend to offer “an urban lifestyle with the ideal balance of access and retreat.” Future tenants at Lion Gardens Apartments will have access to the community’s centralized clubhouse and swimming pool, along with the on-site fitness center and clubhouse.

Aside from the residential aspect, the new venture would host 2,000 square feet of ground-floor retail that would most likely host a small café. A key feature of Lion Gardens Apartments is its location; not only does it offer easy access to public transit lines, but it’s also near many of Orland’s premier attractions.
Lion Gardens, LLC acquired the community’s 19.3-acre build site in 2020. Parliament House itself closed in November 2020, and the popular gay-friendly resort and nightclub was demolished not long after in January 2021. Many parties are working together to make the 294-unit project possible. Just a handful include ARC3 Architecture (the architect), Terracon (the environmental consultant), and EXO Limited (the engineering firm).
Lion Gardens Apartment has been proposed for 410 North Orange Blossom Trail, Orlando, FL, 32805, in Orange County.
