A group of developers intend to move forward with an ultra-luxury private club in Boca Raton.
The Sanborn, Boca Raton would measure eights stories above grade and comprise 44,000 square feet of new construction. Key offerings include eight hotel-style suites, a rooftop swimming pool, bar, and grill, a third-floor card room, and a library. There would also be a wellness aspect, with members having exclusive access to a fitness center and spa.

HDA Architects Boca Raton designed The Sanborn. From PR Newswire: “Upon arrival, guests are welcomed into a lush, gallery-like ground floor lobby, envisioned as a modern oasis with sculptural lighting, curated greenery, and intimate seating moments—setting the tone for the experience that unfolds above.”
Steven Newman, one of the project’s key developers, told the South Florida Business Journal that: “This is not a scene-driven club—it is a sanctuary for purposeful connection, culture, and curated experience.”
As of January 2026, the project was pending review from city officials. If given the greenlight, developers anticipate a spring 2028 completion. The Sanborn would replace the mixed-use venture on the 0.31-acre site at 100 N.E. First Ave., Boca Raton, Florida, 33432, in Broward County. The site is currently owned by the Jacqueline T. Higgins Trust.
