Florida YIMBY has an update regarding an affordable housing development we covered in March 2025. Our report shared that a vacant 4.9-acre site was approved for Olea on 126, a multi-family community in Largo. Now, construction has started on the venture, with completion slated for summer 2027.
Olea on 126 will feature 144 residences in three, four-story buildings. The homes themselves will range from two-bedroom to four-bedroom layout plans. Communal amenities are set to include a swimming pool, children’s playground, and 174 parking spots – averaging to approximately 1.21 spaces per unit.

Every home will be designated as affordable housing; more specifically, 35 will be for households earning up to 40 percent of the area median income (AMI), 72 for households earning up to 60 percent of the AMI, and 38 units for those earning up to 80 percent of the AMI. At the time of publication, Pinellas County’s median household income was $56,737.
Lincoln Avenue Communities and the City of Largo are Olea on 126’s developers. Kimley Horn is the civil engineer. Group 4 Design is the architect. Summit Construction Group is the general contractor.
