Kolter Multifamily intends to proceed with Alton Oldsmar, a mixed-use project that would replace the Oldsmar Flea Market.
Plans call for 279 apartments, with most hovering around 960 square feet each. The homes would be spread across five buildings: four, four-story buildings with 60 units each, and another five-story building with 39 units. Resident amenities at Alton Oldsmar would include a clubhouse outfitted with a fitness center and meeting space, a swimming pool, and open-air pavilion.

There would also be a dog washing station and off-leash park, along with other offerings. The five-story building would also host 674 square feet of retail. Kolter Multifamily does not currently own the flea market’s larger 20-acre site, nor has it submitted permits to the City. If approved, Alton Oldsmar would occupy 13.2 acres of that site.
Alton Oldsmar is just one of multiple projects evolving under the Alton banner in Florida. One related project is Alton Biscayne, a 12-story luxury development taking shape in Miami. The venture is set to feature 336 residences and comprise more than 600,000 square feet of new construction.
Alton Oldsmar is planned to occupy 180 Race Track Rd, Oldsmar, FL, 34677, in Pinellas County.
