Aimco’s Hamilton House now stands 38 stories above Biscayne Bay in Miami’s Edgewater neighborhood. Rising at 640 NE 34th Street, the waterfront residential tower is being built by Americaribe-Grycon with architecture by Stantec, and will reach 497 feet while yielding 114 residential rental units overlooking the bay.

Recent aerial photographs show the reinforced concrete superstructure reaching its full structural height, with crews concentrating work around the roof and mechanical bulkhead levels. Formwork, scaffolding, and exposed rebar remain visible across the building’s crown, indicating that structural work for the final mechanical tiers is in its concluding stages.

Glazing installation has progressed well beyond the halfway point of the tower, with window framing and glass panels now enclosing much of the lower and mid-level floors. Green safety netting visible across sections of the upper levels marks areas where CMU load-bearing walls are currently being installed, continuing their upward progression toward the roof.

Portions of the Biscayne Bay–facing elevation additionally show vertical bands of exterior finishing work, where stucco and paint applications appear to be underway across sections of the façade.

The following close aerial view highlights active work across the uppermost floors of Hamilton House, where crews are assembling the final structural components of the roof and mechanical levels. Dense clusters of vertical rebar, temporary formwork panels, and scaffolding systems are visible across the top slab, with shoring equipment supporting sections of the upper floor plates as work continues.

This project is being developed on a strategic assemblage of parcels previously gathered by Aimco, representing a centerpiece of the firm’s broader footprint in the Edgewater corridor. The tower now rises prominently directly across from The Hamilton, the 276-unit landmark community at 555 NE 34th Street that underwent a $100-million renovation before its recent transition in ownership.
