Ohio-based Developer Proposes ‘Cortaro Heights Apartments’ in Sun City Center, Florida

Cortaro Heights Apartments is set to measure four stories above grade and comprise 100 residences, with floorplans ranging from one-bedroom to three-bedroom models; most of the layouts would be two-bedroom floorplans.

Residents would have access to 156 parking spots (averaging to 1.56 spots per unit), along with various on-site amenities, including a resort-style swimming pool and clubhouse. Cortaro Heights Apartments will likely be at-market-rate units; the average cost of a one-bedroom apartment in Sun City Center is currently $1,715 a month, according to RentCafé.

Cortaro Heights Apartments is just one of many endeavors taking shape in Southwest Florida. Florida YIMBY has been tracking such developments, one of which being Birchway Bayside. That venture is set to comprise 376 apartments and townhomes spread across 19 buildings in Clearwater. Another venture is Fairfield Avenue Apartments, which would offer 264 homes upon completion.

Cortaro Heights Apartments is slated to occupy 874 Cortaro Drive, Sun City Center, Florida, 33573, in Hillsborough County. The build site is currently unoccupied, specifically located at the intersection of Upper Creek Drive and Cortaro Drive.
