Core Spaces and Harrison Street Asset Management have topped out on a student housing endeavor for the University of South Florida (USF) in Tampa.
Hub Tampa Fowler will comprise three buildings, offering a total of 396 units – or 1,195 beds. Floorplans will range from studio to five-bedroom models, along with “upgraded mansions,” according to Multi-Housing News. Students would have access to 15,000 square feet of amenities, including but not limited to a swimming pool, fitness center, and café.

Another key feature would be the on-site wellness center, which would host a steam room, sauna, and Pilates studio. Renderings also show three courtyards and 824 parking spots. Construction started on Hub Tampa Fowler last year; completion is set for 2027. It will mark the first student housing development to come online since 2024. Juneau Construction Co. is the general contractor.
Hub Tampa Fowler is part of a larger 100-acre mixed-use project, called Tampa Rithm, that would include student housing, hotels, and entertainment options. At full completion, the four-phase project would host 5,000 student beds. USF currently boasts 16,665 student beds.
Hub Tampa Fowler continues construction at 12202 Club Drive, Tampa, Florida, 33612, in Hillsborough County.
