Developer K Hovnanian intends to move forward with a townhome project in Broward County. The Tides at Deerfield Beach is slated to comprise 43 townhomes in five two-story buildings. Each three-bedroom home would feature a private parking garage, loft, and various energy-efficient appliances.
The South Florida Business Journal reports that homes would span 1,740 to 1,911 square feet; at the time of publication, it was unclear whether the community would host communal amenities (such as a fitness center and/or swimming pool), but residents would have access to 109 surface parking spots.

As noted, K Hovnanian is the developer. The national homebuilder will seek approval for its 43-unit townhome development from the Deerfield Beach Planning & Zoning Board on May 7th. If approved, the venture would occupy 4.5 acres of vacant land; it’s currently under contract from its current owner, DE Properties. The land is located west of the Deer Creek Country Club.
Deerfield Beach has many evolving projects across multiple sectors. One such project is a six-story medical office building set to feature 75 exam rooms and span just over 127,000 square feet of new construction.
