An affiliate of New York-based KIMCO has filed plans for the latest addition of Dania Pointe in Broward County. Its newest phase would feature two eight-story buildings that would host both residential and retail space. Both mid-rise buildings would be attached through pedestrian bridges that would lead to a parking garage on Radiant Drive.

Regarding the residential aspect, KIMCO wants to proceed with 265 apartments. Future residents could choose from five distinct floorplans, ranging from studio to three-bedroom units. They would average around 952 square feet. One building would host 138 apartments; the other would feature 127.

Additionally, plans call for 47,077 square feet of commercial space; the tower on the building’s south side would have 12,207 square feet of commercial space and 9,411 square feet of restaurants; the tower on the north side would have 10,345 square feet of commercial space and 8,647 square feet of restaurants. As suggested, the project wouldn’t include new parking spots but instead feature access to the parking garage on Radiant Drive.

MSA Architects designed the project. Kimley-Horn is the civil engineer. The newest addition to Dania Pointe has been proposed for 1730 and 1731 Point Blvd., Dania Beach, Florida, 33004, in Broward County.
