The affordable housing branch of The Related Group is proceeding with what’s being billed as the largest mixed-income project in Miami.

The venture will yield two buildings measuring 22 and 25 stories and will provide workforce, affordable, and market-rate housing. They will measure 241 and 270 feet above grade, respectively.

The tallest of the two buildings, Stirrup Plaza, will feature 402 units, while the other building, Magnus Grove, will feature 348. Accounting for the 68 units that will remain on the site, the site would host 818 residences. They will range from one-bedroom to three-bedroom units. Most of the apartments would be two-bedroom layouts.

Magnus Grove will dedicate 7,650 square feet for a new Miami-Dade County library branch, while Stirrup Plaza will host just over 7,200 square feet of ground-floor restaurant/retail space. Both towers would feature their own communal amenities; each would have a swimming pool.  Other plans call for 811 parking spots, 55 of which would be for bicycles.

Cohen Freedman Encinosa & Associates Architects is the architect. From Floridian Development: “Renderings depict both buildings with stucco facades accented by green and white tones, floor-to-ceiling glazing, metal balconies, and contemporary architectural detailing.”

The high-rise towers are slated for 3181 Douglas Road and 3150 Mundy Street, Miami, Florida, 33133, in Miami-Dade County.
