A developer is moving forward with a large-scale mixed-use endeavor in Palm Beach County.
Deerfield Beach City Center is slated to comprise residences, hotel keys, office space, and retail. The venture would feature three buildings measuring 15 stories above grade and occupy a 3.75-acre site. In total, the venture would require close to 700,000 square feet of new construction.
Most recent plans call for 150 residences, with floorplans including one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom models. Twenty percent of the units (30) would be designated as affordable housing.
In addition to the homes, Deerfield Beach City Center would host a 120-key hotel with its own restaurants and event space, 132,500 square feet of office space, and 1,050 square feet of retail. Additional plans include 533 parking spots, a public park, and green space. Deerfield Beach City Center will likely be completed in phases.
MBA Development Partners of Florida LLC is the developer. On September 3rd, the Deerfield Beach Planning & Zoning Board considered plans for the venture. At a later date, city officials will consider rezoning the site from “community facilities” to “planned development district.”
Gallo Herbert Architects designed the venture. Deerfield Beach City Center is planned for 1045 FAU Research Park Blvd, Deerfield Beach, FL, 33441, in Palm Beach County.
