Plans are underway for what could be the largest multi-family development in Pinellas County.

The unnamed venture is slated to feature 552 units in nine four-story buildings, with the structures themselves measuring no more than 50 feet high. The first phase would offer 388 apartments; the second would offer 164. Floorplans would span studio to three-bedroom varieties, and residents would have access to a suite of on-site amenities. These offerings include two clubhouses (spanning 9,543 and 7,186 square feet each), pickleball courts, and 847 parking spots.

Of the 552 total units, at least 221 units will be designated as affordable housing for households earning at or below 120 percent of the area median income (AMI). Pinellas County’s median income is currently $56,737, according to county records. By designating at least 40 percent of the homes as affordable, the developer can gain various benefits under the Live Local Act.

MAST Capital is the developer. Kimley-Horn and Atwell are the civil engineers. At the time of publication, our sources did not reveal a construction timeline or anticipated completion date. However, they did share that the nine-building complex would replace the telecommunications office building on the site.

The multi-family venture is slated for 10222 MCI Drive, Pinellas Park, Florida, 33782, in Pinellas County.
