A Coconut Grove-based developer has secured financing for its third multi-family project in Fort Lauderdale.
Alta New River is slated to measure 35 stories above grade and host 400 apartments. Floorplans will average around 840 square feet, and residents will have access to a suite of on-site communal amenities, including but not limited to a resort-style swimming pool, an outdoor kitchen, and an all-in-one fitness center. There will also be a nine-story parking garage.

Alta Developers is leading the project. So far, the developer has secured $140.2 million to complete Alta New River. It purchased the project’s one-acre build site for $20.8 million in 2022. As note, this will mark Alta Developers’ third residential project in Fort Lauderdale. Another project by the developer includes Vista Harbor Residences & Yacht Club, a 12-story luxury project on the Miami River.
Kaufmann Construction is the general contractor. It intends to have Alta New River completed by the fourth quarter of 2028. Dorsky + Yue International is the architect; One Line Design Studio is the interior designer. Greystar will manage the property upon completion.
